Designing digital infrastructure Strategy in Luxembourg

The European Commission published its Action Plan for 5G in Europe and in this context Luxemburg’s individual plan expressed in its 5G Strategy, is threefold: to be amongst the leaders in 5G, to put in place the appropriate regulatory and policy framework that will allow an efficient 5G network rollout and induce investments in the digital economy, and to support the timely development of 5G in Luxembourg as per the European connectivity targets. The purpose of this DG Reform funded technical assistance project is to provide a strategic roadmap for developing a 5G ecosystem in Luxembourg; elaborate an upskilling and awareness-raising plan that can support the 5G rollout, and a mapping of the infrastructure needed for the 5G rollout.
