Enhancing IT governance models of the Tax and Customs Administration in Portugal

The general objective of the technical assistance program is to contribute to institutional, administrative, and growth-sustaining structural reforms in Portugal. This is achieved by supporting the efforts of national authorities to define and implement appropriate processes and methodologies by taking into account good practices and lessons learned by other countries in addressing similar situations.  Specifically the Portuguese Tax and Customs Administration is seeking to benefit from a critical appraisal of the IS/IT governance model and of the benefits management framework, in order to enhance its capacities and to support the rollout and improvement of the model that it has been implementing. The project is funded by the EU under the Structural Reform Support Service delivered by DG Reform.
